Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 27, 2023

When you schedule an appointment and make a payment, or register for a class or event, whether in person or virtually, you have read these terms, and affirm that you understand and agree to the following terms of service listed below.

Illness: You will call/text me/Kathleen Boldt to reschedule your appointment as soon as you experience respiratory distress or flu-like symptoms, become exposed to anyone with Covid-19 or any other infectious disease in the 5 days up to and including the day of your appointment, OR you have been diagnosed with the above in the past 7 days. We can change your appointment to an online video or telephone call or reschedule.
Service Limitations: You recognize that a sitting or service by me does not constitute a substitute for sound medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
Legal Age: You are 18 years of age or older on the date you schedule a sitting/event. Contact me if you have any questions.
Private Sitting Policy:
You acknowledge that an individual sitting is for one person. (I do not do couples readings or shared sittings. For others to participate, a gallery event would be the best option.)
You are aware that I cannot guarantee who will communicate during a mediumship session or guarantee that information provided will be fully understood by the client during the sitting.
Group Events, Circles, Classes Policy:
You acknowledge that events, circles, and classes may have minimum and maximum registration limits or other mandatory or pre-requisite requirements. When a minimum registration requirement is not met it may result in the cancellation or re-scheduling of the event. When a maximum registration requirement is met, you will be placed on the mailing list at your request. Being on a mailing list is not a guarantee that you will be able to participate in a future event or be subject to first-line access to any said event, circle, or class.
Scheduling:
Appointment scheduling software is used to book your appointment. You are responsible for remembering and tracking your booking on your own calendar. A reminder about your appointment may or may not come to your email or mobile phone. Refunds and rescheduling will not be granted for no-shows due to unsuccessful reminder receipts.
To reserve or schedule a service online using this website, payment is required in advance. The payment amount will vary in accordance with the service.
Payment Policy:
Your payment is required in advance to schedule, register or reserve your VIRTUAL service.
Payment may or may not be required in advance for IN-PERSON service.
Cash and credit are acceptable forms of payment on such an occasion.
Any rescheduling of appointments requiring refunds of payment will be refunded the full price paid in advance minus Square/PayPal or other service fees which may change at source without notice to client.
All private sitting fees are minimum donations determined by service time. Except when pre-scheduled and paid appointments are scheduled online through the website, and cancelled with 24 hours notice, there are no refunds for service.
Fees are subject to change without notice.
Events, classes, and circle fees for registration and reservation vary. These fees will vary without notice.
Refund Policy:
You agree that all event reservations, class, or circle registrations are final unless the event is canceled. Should any event cancel you will be notified and refunded.
You accept that there are no refunds for private sitting appointments 48 hours or less before the scheduled sitting appointment. (If for any reason we discover that we are not a good fit for each other at the very beginning of a sitting, a refund will be issued at my discretion.)
You agree that there are no transfers or deferrals for purchases except where my discretion, illness, death, or law intercede.
You accept that reminders for scheduled private sittings may or may not be in operation and that a minimum of 48 hours is requested for rescheduling and/or cancellations. Contact me with any questions regarding this cancellation policy.
Be aware that sometimes a third party is a host for events posted and/or advertised. During your registration for any class, circle, or event, please take note. If it is a third-party host or an external site on which you are registering, they may have different registration, and refund policies (and website use and privacy policies.)
Changes to Availability: You agree that I have the right to change appointment availability calendars without notice. This may extend to events or course availability when necessary. If you have a reservation or registration and a change, cancellation, or rescheduling is needed, you will be notified of any changes by way of the contact information that you provided.
Personal Property: I assume no liability for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items due to participation in my services on location or virtually.
Anti-Discrimination Policy:
I will make reasonable accommodations for those in need where my resources allow (e.g. wheelchair access where building facility permits.) I will not discriminate against my clients and customers for medical, or religious reasons or based on race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, disability, or age (40 or older).
At Your Risk:
Any requirements you have to participate in my services, including and not limited to technical or physical arrangements and/or expenses are solely at your own risk and your responsibility.
Your attendance is confirmation that you agree to assume all risks related to your participation. You release for yourself, your heirs, and your executor any claim against “Kathleen Boldt,” “www.MediumKathleen.com” and my assistants and agents. You release “Kathleen Boldt” from liability resulting from injury or accidents occurring during any sitting, class, circle, talk, demonstration, or event.
Recordings:
Video: You agree not to video record any sitting or event without my explicit permission. Note: Recording of mediums at the Message Service held at Lily Dale NY is strictly prohibited unless written approval is granted by the Lily Dale Assembly.
Audio: You are welcome to audio record your private sitting on your own mobile device with the condition that you do not post, broadcast, transcribe or publish the recording publicly without my permission. Permission to record my voice is granted as a bonus and is not included as part of your service purchase.
You accept that I cannot guarantee the quality of your recording or am obliged in any way to compensate you if the recording is unsuccessful.
You acknowledge that any recordings made (i.e audio or video) of me, my visage, and/or my voice are my property and are protected by United States and international copyright laws.
Copyright: You agree to abide by the fact that material on this website is subject to copyright laws. You also agree to abide by the fact that assets (e.g. stock photography) have been used with permissions and licenses on this site and re-use of the same is subject to various copyright and use laws.

You affirm and accept that this website and its creators offer no warranty, expressed or implied, concerning the accuracy, relevance, or quality of the information provided. You agree that Kathleen Boldt, hereby disclaims liability to any person or entity for any and all loss or damages, (including, without limitation, physical, mental, incidental, or consequential) caused with regard to any information and/or advisement.

No signature needed. By scheduling and/or paying for your appointment online, you are accepting these terms above. After scheduling you will be asked to fill out an intake form on which you can select “yes” to confirm that you have read and agreed with these terms.
